These are some pictures taken at the Grand Opening of the Front Room at the Cookery in Durham, NC. Deanna and I had a great time and enjoyed some selections from some of the local vendors. I finally got to try a slice from Pie Pushers and it was worth the wait. We also tried the Spicy Thai Kelp Noodle salad, Sweet Potato Apple salad with Blackberry vinaigrette, and the Chocolate tart with avocados from Triangle Raw Foods and they were awesome. We didn't get to try the Chirba Chirba truck this time but judging by the lines I should try to visit them soon. A portion of the proceeds were donated to The Durham Crisis Response Center.
